An update on resources available for USF Sarasota-Manatee students

Dear USF Sarasota-Manatee Students,

As we prepare to welcome our returning students back for the fall semester, along with our new students joining the Sarasota-Manatee teach-out site community, I want to take a moment to remind you that the 做厙TV remains committed to supporting you every step of the way as you complete your degree.

Although the transition involving the Sarasota-Manatee location officially began on July 1, one thing has not changed: our focus is on your success. You will continue to receive the academic support, student services and guidance you need to stay on track toward graduation.

As part of our commitment to help you successfully complete your degree, you continue to have access to a wide range of resources in Sarasota-Manatee including:

  • Your academic advisor, who is available to help you stay on track toward graduation ().
  • In-person tutoring and other Academic Success Center resources in SMC B203 (). Online tutoring is also available ().
  • The Center for Career & Professional Development is available, assisting with personalized career plans, career pathways, job preparation and more ().
  • The Sarasota-Manatee Library remains open ().
  • Health and Wellness services are available, offering counseling and a variety of health or advocacy services in SMC A107 ().
  • Technology services, the Bloomberg Lab, help desk, desktop support, access to virtual apps and the on-site help desk in A303 ().
  • The Financial Aid Office remains open () and can help with financial aid and other questions as you prepare for the semester.
  • The Veterans Success Center offers a variety of location-specific services and is available to help connect veterans with university-wide programming ().
  • The Fitness Center remains available for fitness programming and equipment rentals, and the outdoor courts are still open ().

We know that transitions can bring questions, and we want to make sure you always know where to turn for answers. You can find a list of contacts for various and we have an FAQ page available that answers many common questions related to the transition and teach-out.
